LA Kings Assign Left Wing Scott Parse To Manchester Monarchs

EL SEGUNDO, CA — On February 12, the Los Angeles Kings assigned left wing Scott Parse to the Manchester Monarchs of the American Hockey League, their primary minor league affiliate.

Parse, 25, has played in 48 games with the Kings this season, his first in the National Hockey League, scoring eight goals and adding thirteen assists for 21 points with twenty penalty minutes.

The 5-11, 197-pound native of Portage, Michigan, has also played in ten games with the Monarchs this season, scoring three goals and contributing ten assists for thirteen points with six penalty minutes.

Parse was selected by the Kings in the sixth round (174th overall) in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft.
