LOS ANGELES — On March 7, prior to the Los Angeles Kings hosting the Pittsburgh Penguins, the Anschutz Entertainment Group (AEG) honored former Kings left wing and current President/Business Operations Luc Robitaille by erecting a statue of Robitaille in Star Plaza at Staples Center.

During a ceremony in which the statue was unveiled, Dan Beckerman, Chief Executive Officer, AEG, former Los Angeles Lakers guard and general manager Jerry West, former Kings defenseman and current assistant general manager Rob Blake, and former Kings superstar Wayne Gretzky addressed the crowd.

Robitaille’s son, Jesse, and his wife Stacia also spoke at the event.
