LOS ANGELES — Jeff Carter, Marian Gaborik, Alec Martinez and Trevor Lewis scored goals and Anze Kopitar pitched in with three assists to lead the Los Angeles Kings to a 4-2 victory over the Arizona Coyotes during a matinee affair at Staples Center on December 20.
The Kings scored two power play goals on five chances with the man advantage, and they denied the Coyotes on all three of their power play opportunities.
With the three assists, Kopitar now has a goal and seven assists for eight points in his last two games.
