LOS ANGELES — On June 13, prior to the Los Angeles Kings winning Game 5 of the 2014 Stanley Cup Final, and their second Stanley Cup Championship in three seasons, former Kings left wing and current radio color commentator Daryl Evans was a guest on the NHL Network, previewing that night’s game at Staples Center in Los Angeles.
Near the end of the interview, Evans was asked about the fact that he skates with unlaced skates, and they showed a photo of Evans on the ice with skates that, you guessed it…had no laces.
That photo was taken by David Sheehan, whose work can be found all over this web site. He also shoots at Ontario Reign (Kings’ ECHL affiliate) games.
