LOS ANGELES — The media, followed not long after by alumni and staff of the Anaheim Ducks and Los Angeles Kings, along with some of their broadcast staff and a handful of celebrities in what was inaccurately called an “alumni” game, were the first to skate on the ice at Dodger Stadium, prior to Saturday’s Stadium Series game between the Ducks and the Kings (6:30 PM PST; televised nationally on the NBC Sports Network).

Photographer David Sheehan was on the players bench the whole time, shooting photos of both the free skate and the game. Aside from a handful of photos taken by yours truly, the following photo essay features his great photos from the evening. Enjoy!
