ANAHEIM, CA — Dwight King scored the lone goal in a nine-round shootout, and Martin Jones made his National Hockey League debut in goal—both led the Los Angeles Kings to a 3-2 shootout win over the Anaheim Ducks at the Honda Center in Anaheim on December 3.
Jeff Carter and Dustin Brown scored goals for the Kings, while Ryan Getzlaf and Corey Perry scored for Anaheim.
Jonas Hiller was outstanding in goal for the Ducks, making 49 saves, while Jones stopped 26 shots for the Kings.
