EL SEGUNDO, CA — The day after a frustrating 2-0 defeat at the hands of goaltender Kari Lehtonen and the Dallas Stars at Staples Center, the Los Angeles Kings were back on practice ice at the Toyota Sports Center in El Segundo, California, preparing to face Daniel and Henrik Sedin and the Vancouver Canucks on March 23 (1:00 PM PDT, Staples Center).

Due to the early start of Saturday’s game, today’s practice was not quite your typical non-game day skate.

Jonathan Quick did not do extra work after practice ended, and was the first goaltender to leave the ice, the usual indicator for which goalie will get the start in the next game, so Quick is expected to be the starter against the Canucks on Saturday.

Drew Doughty, Jonathan Quick, and head coach Darryl Sutter spoke with the media after practice. You can watch exclusive video of those interviews below.
