LOS ANGELES — Despite the fact that, technically, the National Hockey League lockout was still in effect (until well after the event began), Los Angeles Kings players spent about three hours signing autographs and taking photos with Kings fans, primarily season seat holders, at the annual Meet The Players event, this year, held at Staples Center.

The Kings said that over 4,000 people attended, a crowd that was much larger than the Meet The Players events held in past years at Hollywood Park.

The following is a photo essay from the event.
