Frozen Royalty Audio And NHL Video: LA Kings’ Futility Continues With Loss To St. Louis

LOS ANGELES — The futility at Staples Center continued for the Los Angeles Kings in another woeful effort in front of the home crowd, this time, a 3-1 loss to the St. Louis Blues on January 13.

It was much of the same for the Kings, losers of seven of their last eight games, in that they failed to sustain a solid effort for the full sixty minutes.

In this case, the only thing that was different was that they only showed life on a handful of shifts.

As things get worse for the Kings, not better, the only question left is what will the Kings do to shake things up and when?

  1. The Blues needed to play that kind of counter-punching, boring road game and the Kings let them. Not sure why the Blues seem to have the Kings’ #. It was not the best team to play in hopes of a slump-bust.
