EL SEGUNDO, CA — Prior to their game against the Tampa Bay Lightning at Staples Center on November 4 (7:30 PM PDT), the Los Angeles Kings activated defenseman Drew Doughty and forward Scott Parse from injured reserve.
Doughty, 20, suffered a concussion on October 20 and was placed on injured reserve on October 25 (retroactive to October 21). He passed baseline cognitive tests on November 2 and was cleared to return to action.
The 6-0, 212-pound native of London, Ontario has one assist with a +2 plus/minus rating with six penalty minutes in five games this season.
Parse, 26, was placed on injured reserve, retroactive to September 22, due to ankle and groin injuries. He will make his 2010-11 debut against the Lightning.
