The Los Angeles Kings are just making things a lot tougher for themselves these days.
Indeed, after dropping a 3-1 decision to the St. Louis Blues in St. Louis on March 25, they earned just one point out of a possible four during their quick, two-game road swing to Denver and St. Louis.
The Kings got off to another one of their slow starts and never found the intensity needed to get the job done against the Blues. As a result, they now find themselves right on the edge of dropping down to the eighth and final playoff spot in the Western Conference.
