Loktionov, 19, leads the Monarchs in scoring and ranks third among AHL rookies with seventeen points on six goals and eleven assists in twenty games. He also ranks second among AHL rookies in assists.
The 5-10, 179-pound native of Voskresensk, Russia, who was selected by the Kings in the fifth round (123rd overall) of the 2008 National Hockey League Entry Draft, will wear jersey number 48.
Segal, 26, has scored six goals and has contributed eight assists for fourteen points with 34 penalty minutes in 21 games with the Monarchs this season. The 6-2, 209-pound native of Richmond, British Columbia played in his first two NHL games last season with Tampa Bay and also appeared in 69 games with the Norfolk Admirals of the AHL, scoring 26 goals and adding 26 assists for 52 points with 95 penalty minutes.
Segal was named to the Canadian AHL All-Star team last season. He was signed by the Kings as an unrestricted free agent on July 13 and will wear jersey number 49.
Smyth, 33 suffered an “upper body injury” and has missed the last two games. He has scored nine goals and has added fourteen assists for 23 points in 22 games.
