EL SEGUNDO, CA — On September 24, the Los Angeles Kings trimmed their training camp roster down to 28 players.
Defenseman Andrew Campbell and center Marc-Andre Cliche were assigned to the Manchester Monarchs of the American Hockey League, the Kings’ primary minor league affiliate, while left wing Kyle Clifford was returned to the Barrie Colts of the Ontario Hockey League.
Defenseman Joe Piskula was also placed on waivers. The Kings will assign him to the Monarchs unless he his claimed off of waivers by another team.
