EL SEGUNDO, CA — On July 13, the Los Angeles Kings signed right wing Brandon Segal to a two-year contract.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
Segal, 25, has played the last six seasons with the Milwaukee Admirals, Portland Pirates and the Norfolk Admirals of the American Hockey League. Last season with Norfolk, he scored 26 goals and added 26 assists for 52 points—all AHL career highs.
In 404 AHL games, Segal has scored 94 goals and has tallied 83 assists for 177 points. He was also chosen to play in the 2009 AHL All-Star Classic in Worchester, Massachusetts.
Segal was selected by Nashville Predators in the fourth round (102nd overall) of the 2002 NHL Entry Draft.
