  1. Who cares who corey elkins is? when is the pain going to end? year after year its the same sh*t…got a good young team that will be a perennial playoff team in a few years. The Kings haven’t made it to the playoffs since the StaplesCenter seats still smelled new. I’m tired of this crap. When is Crosby become a free agent? We need to sign that guy! This is LA and we want a winner not a second class franchise whose team is competitive when their talent plays in Manchester and Bakersfield. And don’t get me started when I see the Ducks going to playoffs AGAIN! Arghhhhh!

  2. Eric…chill. :-) Seriously, I totally understand where you’re coming from. So many Kings fans have suffered through a long, long history of mediocrity…or less, over the 40+ year history of this franchise. Trust me, I know how you feel. But keep one thing in mind…this is the very first time the Kings have undergone a total rebuild from the ground up. They said they were going to rebuild many times before, but they either never went through with it or did a “half-assed” rebuild, which never works. Next season is when they MUST make the playoffs. At that point, if they do not, it’s time to get on their case. Not now.

  3. Elkins was a teammate of Jeff Zatkoff’s in 2004-05 in the USHL. Six degrees of Kevin Bacon indeed.
