Coming Soon: 40 Minutes With Dean Lombardi

For those who are dying to know what I’m working on, you’ll really want to keep checking in here over the next few days because before Monday night’s game against the Columbus Blue Jackets, I sat down with Los Angeles Kings President/General Manager Dean Lombardi for a one-on-one interview.

We talked for about forty minutes, covering a number of different topics ranging from his team’s current goaltending situation, where the Kings are in their rebuilding process, what’s happening down on the farm, what really happened in trade talks with the Chicago Blackhawks (goaltender Nikolai Khabibulin) and more.

It will take some time to get a forty-minute interview transcribed, so don’t expect a story until sometime late on Wednesday night at the earliest. A few days after the story (or stories) is (are) published, I will make the audio of the interview available.

So…again…stay tuned!
