EL SEGUNDO, CA — On July 21, the Los Angeles Kings signed restricted free agent defenseman Peter Harrold to a three-year contract.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
Harrold, 25, played in 25 games for hte Kings last season, scoring two goals and adding three assists for five points with two penalty minutes.
Harrold also played in 49 regular season games with the Manchester Monarchs of the American Hockey League (Kings’ primary minor league affiliate), scoring seven goals with 36 assists for 43 points with 25 penalty minutes.
In four playoff games with the Monarchs, Harrold recorded one assist.
The 5-11, 195-pound native of Kirtland Hills, Ohio was originally signed by the Kings as a free agent on April 12, 2006.
