EL SEGUNDO, CA — At this point in his National Hockey League career, it is quite clear that Los Angeles Kings forward Trevor Lewis is not likely to become a gifted sniper or a dazzling playmaker.

But that is what Kings President/General Manager Dean Lombardi thought he could be getting when he dealt center Pavol Demitra, the Kings’ best player in the 2005-06 season, to the Minnesota Wild on June 24, 2006, in exchange for center prospect Patrick O’Sullivan (now playing in Finland), who was the top prospect in the Wild organization at the time, along with the 17th pick in the first round of the 2006 NHL Entry Draft.

Frozen Royalty Video: LA Kings Steal 4-3 Win Over San Jose In Game 2 Of Western Conference Semifinals

LOS ANGELES — Due to other commitments, Frozen Royalty must forego the usual write-up leading into post-game video interviews from Thursday night’s 4-3 victory by the Los Angeles Kings over the San Jose Sharks in Game 2 of their Western Conference Semifinal playoff series.

With the win, the Kings now lead the best-of-seven series, 2-0. Game 3 will be played at 6:00 PM PDT on Saturday in San Jose.

LOS ANGELES — Drew Doughty scored a goal and added an assist, and Mike Richards scored a power play goal late in the second period to lead the Los Angeles Kings to a 2-1 victory over the Anaheim Ducks in front of a standing room only crowd of 18,473 fans at Staples Center on April 13.

Ryan Getzlaf scored the lone goal for the Ducks.
