Los Angeles Kings Cut Down To 22

EL SEGUNDO, CA — On October 6, the Los Angeles Kings cut their roster down to 22 players.

Assigned to the Manchester Monarchs of the American Hockey League were defenseman Alec Martinez, right wing Teddy Purcell, goaltender Jonathan Quick and right wing Kevin Westgarth.

The Kings also returned defenseman Thomas Hickey to his junior team, the Seattle Thunderbirds of the Western Hockey League.

Forward Prospect Bud Holloway Signs Entry-Level Deal

EL SEGUNDO, CA — On April 24, the Los Angeles Kings signed forward prospect Bud Holloway to a three-year, entry-level contract.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

Holloway, 20, scored 43 goals and added 40 assists for 83 points with 55 penalty minutes in 70 regular season games this season with the Seattle Thunderbirds of the Western Hockey League. He also scored five goals and contributed five assists in twelve WHL playoff games. Read more of this post
