O’Donnell, Quick Lead LA Kings to 3-2 Victory At Edmonton on NHL Video

Brad Richardson and Dustin Brown scored a goal and added an assist each and…get this…Sean O’Donnell scored the game-winner late in the third period to help lead the Los Angeles Kings to a 3-2 win over the Edmonton Oilers at Rexall Place in Edmonton on Tuesday night.

O’Donnell’s goal was his first in 157 games, dating back to December 22, 2007, when he was with the Anaheim Ducks. Read more of this post

LOS ANGELES — Despite not being at their best for their third straight game, the Los Angeles Kings found a way to win yet again, handing the Dallas Stars a 3-2 shootout defeat in front of a sell-out crowd of 18,118 happy fans at Staples Center on Saturday night.

Alexander Frolov and Anze Kopitar scored goals in regulation for the Kings, while James Neal and Mike Modano scored for the Stars.

LA Kings Defenseman Sean O’Donnell Suspended

During the Los Angeles Kings’ pre-season game on September 22, a 4-2 victory over the New York Islanders at the Sprint Center in Kansas City, Kings defenseman Sean O’Donnell went after Matt Martin of the Islanders after he high-sticked Kings defenseman Drew Doughty.

O’Donnell was assessed a match penalty on the play and has been suspended by the National Hockey League. Here is their press release: Read more of this post
