2012 Sunset Sip With Jim Fox Benefits The Guidance Center

Los Angeles Kings television color commentator and Kings alumnus Jim Fox will host the second annual “Sunset Sip” wine tasting reception at the Museum of Latin American Art in Long Beach (628 Alamitos Avenue) on Thursday, September 20, from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM.

Proceeds from the reception will once again benefit The Guidance Center, which has been leading children and families to a brighter future for more than 60 years by providing quality mental health care to more than 2,000 children and families each year in the communities of Long Beach, Compton/Lynwood, San Pedro and Avalon on Catalina Island.

The Guidance Center provides comprehensive mental health treatment to the community’s most disadvantaged children and their families struggling with mental illness and abuse, leading them toward a positive and productive future. The Guidance Center also envisions a community where all children have the help they need to be healthy and happy.

Individual tickets are $100 each and couples (two tickets) cost $175. The evening will also feature a tasting contest and a silent auction. Read more of this post
