Los Angeles Kings Sign Forward Prospect Dwight King

EL SEGUNDO, CA — On May 21, the Los Angeles Kings signed forward prospect Dwight King to a three-year, entry-level contract.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

King, 19, scored 25 goals and contributed 35 assists for sixty points with 51 penalty minutes in 64 regular season games with the Lethbridge Hurricanes of the Western Hockey League. King also scored a goal and added seven assists for eight points in eleven playoff games. Read more of this post

Los Angeles Kings Send King, Teubert Back To Juniors

EL SEGUNDO, CA — On September 25, the Los Angeles Kings made their second set of training camp cuts.

Left wing Dwight King was returned to the Lethbridge Hurricanes of the Western Hockey League and defenseman Colten Teubert was returned to the Regina Pats, also of the WHL.

The Kings now have have 54 players remaining on their 2008 training camp roster, including 29 forwards, 17 defensemen and eight goaltenders.
