LA Kings Sign Left Wing Prospect Kyle Clifford, Make Third Round Of Roster Cuts

EL SEGUNDO, CA — On September 22, the Los Angeles Kings signed left wing prospect Kyle Clifford to a contract and made their third set of training camp roster cuts.

Four players were assigned to the Manchester Monarchs of the American Hockey League (the Kings’ primary minor league affiliate):

Drew Bagnall, defenseman
Gabe Gauthier, center
Brandon Segal, right wing
John Zeiler, right wing

Avalanche Creates Confusion For Kings In 4-3 Shootout Win

LOS ANGELES — The Los Angeles Kings have struggled lately against the Colorado Avalanche and despite the fact that the Avs were without star center Joe Sakic on Saturday night, those struggles continued as the Avs disappointed an announced sell-out crowd of 18,118 fans at Staples Center by handing the Kings a 4-3 shootout defeat.
