LOS ANGELES — As it turns out, as banged up, beaten up, bruised and otherwise injured as the Los Angeles Kings were during the 2013 Stanley Cup Playoffs, it wasn’t just the players who were among the walking…errr…skating wounded.
Add to their casualty list head coach Darryl Sutter, who, according to a report by Andrea Fujii on the local CBS affiliate here in Los Angeles, KCBS-TV 2, suffered from a double hernia for much of the 2013 season. But thanks to robotic surgery after the Kings’ season ended, Sutter is already on his way back.
