Players, coaches, trainers, equipment staff, team executives, owners—they all get to spend quality time with the Stanley Cup before the start of the next National Hockey League season.

What many may not be aware of is that many Stanley Cup-winning teams give some of their staff who fans never see or hear about their time with the Stanley Cup as well, and that includes the Los Angeles Kings.

LA Kings Open Their 2014 Training Camp – In Photos


EL SEGUNDO, CA — Frozen Royalty was on hand at the Toyota Sports Center in El Segundo, California for the first on-ice sessions of the Los Angeles Kings 2014 training camp on Friday, September 19, 2014.

65 players were split into two groups, one skating in the morning, the other in the afternoon.

LA Kings HockeyFest ’14, Rookie Camp, Alumni Game – In Photos

EL SEGUNDO, CA — On September 14, 2014, despite the scorching heat, the Los Angeles Kings hosted their annual HockeyFest at the Toyota Sports Center in El Segundo, California.

Over 1,500 fans were estimated to have attended the event where fans, who lined up as early as 3:45 AM, got the opportunity to get a photograph with the Stanely Cup, hear from team executives and coaches about what was going on with the team and where it is headed, the ever-popular Kids Press Conference, games and other activities for children, a hockey clinic for children, and much more.

LA Kings 2014 Stanley Cup Championship Parade and Rally – In Photos

LOS ANGELES — Although the pageantry is nothing compared to the annual Rose Parade each New Year’s Day in Pasadena, California, when the Los Angeles Kings win the Stanley Cup, as they did for the second time in franchise history on June 13, 2014, their celebratory parades are just as special, just in a different way.

An estimated 300,000 fans lined Figueroa Street and Chick Hearn Court in Downtown Los Angeles as Kings players, coaches, staff, and their families rode double-decker buses and one specially equipped semi-trailer truck south on Figueroa Street, starting at 5th Street, before turning west onto Chick Hearn Court, between Staples Center and L.A. Live.
