EL SEGUNDO, CA — On March 20, the Los Angeles Kings announced that defenseman Denis Gauthier will miss the next one to two weeks with an “upper body injury,” believed to be a hand injury. They also activated winger Justin Williams from injured reserve and have recalled defenseman Davis Drewiske from the Manchester Monarchs of the American Hockey League, their primary minor league affiliate. TORONTO — On February 2, the National Hockey League suspended Los Angeles Kings defenseman Denis Gauthier for five games without pay, the result of a hit on Montreal Canadiens defenseman Josh Gorges during their game at Montreal on January 31. Read more of this post
