Felony Sexual Abuse Charge Against Former LA Kings Assistant Coach Mark Hardy May Be Reduced To Misdemeanor

From the “Because We Reported On This Previously” department…Rich Hammond, the LA Kings Insider, reported today that, “…the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Washington, D.C. has filed a request to have the charge against [former Los Angeles Kings defenseman and assistant coach Mark Hardy—felony sexual abuse—reduced to a misdemeanor.”

Hardy was arrested and was charged with fourth-degree sexual abuse in Washington, D.C. following a May 21 incident. He resigned as Kings assistant coach on May 11.
