Los Angeles Kings Show Improvement On Road Trip-NHL Video

Going into their recent, quick two-game road trip, the Los Angeles Kings were in free fall mode, losing games due to poor, uninspired efforts.

They put in a better effort against at Minnesota on March 29, but their poor special teams play helped lift the Minnesota Wild to a 3-2 win.

But the real improvement came on March 30, when the Kings skated into Music City to face the Nashville Predators, who are in fifth place in the Western Conference and are a team the Kings have been unable to beat in two seasons. Read more of this post

LA Kings Assign Andrei Loktionov To Manchester Monarchs

EL SEGUNDO, CA — On March 26, the Los Angeles Kings activated forward Andrei Loktionov from the injured reserve list and they assigned him to the Manchester Monarchs of the American Hockey League, their primary minor league affiliate.

Loktionov, 19, made his Kings and National Hockey League debut on November 25 in Edmonton after being recalled from Manchester on November 23. During the game, he suffered a dislocated shoulder and he was placed on injured reserve the next day. Read more of this post
