lol gann ….. that was great …… heres what i said after 2 periods …….. im like i hope if we somehow can tie this game it comes in the last 2 minutes because the way the kings are playing tonight, if they tie it around the 10 minute mark , new jersey will score a goal in the last 10 minutes to break our hearts because then the devils would know they have to play offense hard again – instead of sitting back and protecting a lead …. lol gann …….. randy jones ……………….. can we please end this experiment …… i mean he looks absolutely terrible every game …….. i cant be the only one to notice it can i …… and gann, bernier, yes looks like he may be great as well, but like i have told you – no one is going to take the number one job away from quick ever …. hes the best goalie in the history of this franchise (rogie played in a different era where stand up goaltending was the norm – so theres no comparison) , so dealing bernier is something we need to do to get more offense ……. i mean no matter how good bernier is – and he may be great, no one will ever be as good as quick in shootouts ….. quick is absolutely phenominal in shootouts ……… and while, yes it is a freak show, shootouts are here to stay and do play a role in a teams ability to make or not make the playoffs …… and no one will ever be as good as quick in shootouts ….. so we dont need two number one goalies , so i say deal bernier for some more offense …… at times during regular play, quick does tend to come out too far sometimes, but he has really gotten better at this ….. and i hardly complain about it at all anymore …… there are really no flaws in quicks game at all anymore ……. and his athleticism …. with the splits and everything …… wow
i mean gann, there was this play in the third period where a guy just skated right past randy jones like he was standing still …… i mean jones did absolutely nothing except watch him skate by for a free 2 on 1 from the red line on in ….. i mean what is going on here …. ive never seen a defensemen be this gross …. i mean he gives new meaning to the words escort service and cigar store indian ….. i mean i couldnt believe it ………… i mean jones just literally watched him skate by without even touching him and let him go right by him as jones watched from the blueline ….. what in the world??????? ……. i mean i was a defender of jones in the begining saying he looks like a real good pickup by lombardi …… mostly cuz of his offense …… i mean i just assumed he could play defense ………. but jones play this last month has proven lombardi and i to be dead wrong …. this guy is horrible ……….. by the way, everyone seems to be insinuating that quick should have stopped the second goal, and yes probably more times than not he would but that was a slapper from about 35 feet away wide open … people are getting spoiled and now expect him to stop everything ….. it just looked like a regular goal to me not a soft one …… one that probably squeaked thru the five hole or seven hole …. sometimes that stuff just happens …. and that shot came from a good scoring area ……. anyways if u can check out the highlight package of the game either on hammonds blog or thru nhl . com you will see the jones play i was talking about ……. of course quick stood on his head and saved jones bacon ….. if u werent able to watch the game , check it out gann …. it was in the third period
gann how come u never talk back to me anymore ….. i mean lately its like im just talking to myself on here …………….. if i pissed u off somehow or something then let me know ….. i mean cuz i have asked u specific questions and stuff regarding your opinion on who should sit and stuff and just other things but now u never talk back …… and since u have to moderate my stuff, i believe that means u have to read my stuff … but whatever, just let me know and that way if u want me off the site it will save both of us time and no hard feelings
