LA Kings Place Brandon Segal On Injured Reserve

EL SEGUNDO, CA — On December 8, the Los Angeles Kings placed winger Brandon Segal on injured reserve, retroactive to December 2, due to a lower body injury.

Segal, 26, was injured during the Kings game against the Anaheim Ducks on December 1.

The 6-2, 209-pound native of Richmond, British Columbia was recalled from the Manchester Monarchs of the American Hockey League, the Kings’ primary minor league affiliate, on November 23. He made his debut with the Kings on November 25 at Edmonton.

In 21 games with the Monarchs, Segal scored six goals and added eight assists for fourteen points with 34 penalty minutes.
