Great read Gann. I did not realize that the Kings were still doing well in terms of shots against but it doesn’t matter much if you give up too many scoring chances. I think Quick could play better but there is definitely something to be said about the guys in front of him. I am not surprised such a young team is inconsistent or has struggles. I am still very optimistic about the season but we really need to tighten up on defense for sure.

As much as we all miss Smyth, one thing that struck me in this article, Gann, is how articulate a leader Matt Greene is. I love this guy. He’s a warrior and pulls no punches.

Unfortunately, his leadership isn’t enough to get it done. With 13 games left until Smyth (supposedly) is ready, this could be really, really bad.
