LA Kings Debut New Online Resource: HockeyWood, L.A.

EL SEGUNDO, CA — On October 10, the Los Angeles Kings unveiled Hockeywood, L.A., their new online social network, on LAKings.com, the club announced in a press release.

Bob Miller, the long-time “Voice of the Kings’ and a member of the Hockey Hall of Fame, made the first “ceremonial” post. 

Hockeywood, L.A. is an online social network community where Kings fans can upload videos, photos and blogs while interacting with other fans on LAKings.com’s new-and-improved message board, which is also part of Hockeywood, L.A.

As part of the launch, several featured content providers are already actively contributing to Hockeywood L.A., which features user-generated content from several long-time Southern California-based bloggers, podcasters and an array of video content as produced by hockey fans.

Hockeywood, L.A. will also feature The Deep Purple Podcast in which Mike Kalinowski provides interviews with Kings players, coaches, executives, broadcasters and alumni.

Additionally, Kings Ice Crew Captain, Debbie, will also be providing an inside look at the behind-the-scenes aspects of Kings Game Entertainment, as well as highlights from various community appearances, events and interactions with fans in her featured Captain’s Blog.

All fans are encouraged to contribute as well by participating in this new open forum.

    Not a bad game tonight. Played pretty solid. Nice to start a road trip with a “W”

    PK was better, there was a little improvement in the face-off circle and Quick was great. Should’ve been the #1 star of the game.
