LA Kings Make Final 2009-10 Training Camp Cuts

EL SEGUNDO, CA — On September 28, the Los Angeles Kings made their final training camp roster cuts.
Goaltender Jonathan Bernier, defenseman Thomas Hickey and right wing Kevin Westgarth were assigned to the Manchester Monarchs of the American Hockey League, their primary minor league affiliate.
Center Brayden Schenn was return to his junior team, the Brandon Wheat Kings of the Western Hockey League.
The Kings now have 23 players on their roster heading into Saturday’s regular season opener against the Phoenix Coyotes (7:30 PM PDT, Staples Center).
