LA Kings Send Defenseman Prospect Joe Piskula To AHL Affiliate

EL SEGUNDO, CA — On September 26, the Los Angeles Kings assigned defenseman Joe Piskula to the Manchester Monarchs of the American Hockey League, their primary minor league affiliate.
Piskula was placed on waivers on September 25 and was assigned to Mahcnester after clearing waivers 24 hours later.
The Kings are down to 27 players on their 2009-10 training camp roster.
