LA Kings Announce Training Camp Schedule, Roster; Tickets For Rookie Tournament On Sale Now

EL SEGUNDO, CA — On September 3, the Los Angeles Kings announced that their 2009 training camp will begin on Sunday, September 13 and will be held at the practice facility, the Toyota Sports Center in El Segundo, California.

61 players are scheduled to participate in this year’s camp and will be divided into three teams. The first on-ice practice will begin at 8:30 AM PDT.

All on-ice practices are open to the public. The Toyota Sports Center in is located at 555 North Nash Street in El Segundo. Practices will be held on both the NHL and Olympic rinks.

The Kings also announced that tickets for their two-game rookie tournament against the Phoenix Coyotes on Wednesday, September 9 at 6:00 PM and on Thursday, September 10 at 2:00 PM (both games will be played at the Toyota Sports Center), are on sale now for $10.00 each, with the proceeds going to the Kings Care Foundation.

500 tickets are available for each game. They can be purchased from the Kings web site.
