Kings 2008 Rookie Camp Starts on September 13

Follow @frozenroyaltyEL SEGUNDO, CA — On August 27, the Los Angeles Kings announced that their 2008 Rookie Camp will begin on Saturday, September 13, 2008, at the Toyota Sports Center in El Segundo, California.

The camp runs from September 13-15 (inclusive), with players on the ice from 9:00 to 10:00 AM with scrimmages from 10:30 – 11:45 AM each day.

The rookies will then fly to Phoenix to face rookies of the Phoenix Coyotes in a two-game tournament on Tuesday, September 16 and Wednesday, September 17 at Jobing.com Arena in Glendale, Arizona.

The first game, which begins at 6:00 PM PDT, will be broadcast live on the Kings web site.

The September 17 game beings at 2:00 PM.
