NHL Draft Lottery To Be Televised On April 7

Being the last place team in the National Hockey League has one saving grace for that lowly, hapless team…they are the odds-on favorite to pick first in the upcoming National Hockey League Entry Draft.
This year’s lowly, hapless, last place team (as if you didn’t already know) is none other than the Los Angeles Kings, although that could change pending the outcome of the last few games of the 2007-08 season.
In any case, there is a lot of excitement and anticipation for the 2008 NHL Entry Draft, which is loaded with talent compared to previous years. This year’s draft lottery, which will determine the first round draft order, is scheduled for Monday, April 7 at 5:00 PM PDT, and will be televised on Versus and the NHL Network and on the league’s web site, NHL.com.
